Creativity Quote With Whale Painting

This time I’ve painted a whale in a watercolor, a cute blue whale. I painted it in cartoon style, which I think looks so adorable. I also added a creativity quote “Creativity blows your mind”. The word “blows” relates to the whale’s blowhole, where they blow out all the water that they inhaled before together with the air. And creativity can really blows your mind. Anything seems possible with creativity, no boundaries, mesmerizing, and mind blowing.

Picture44

Creativity is amazing and so does a whale. A very big mammal that feed, mate, give birth, suckle and raise their young at ocean. And the word “whale” comes from the Old English hwæl, from Proto-Germanic hwalaz, from Proto Indo European (s)kwal-o-, meaning “large sea fish”. Whales have been through some evolving process, from land-living mammals. For instance, whales must breathe air regularly, though they able to remain descend under water for long periods of time and even some whale species can stay below the sea surface for 90 minutes. Some have blowholes, some only have one blowhole (modified nostrils) which you can find it on the top of their heads, the blowhole is where the air is taken in and expelled. Pretty amazing right? So a whale is worth to be at a quote painting of creativity.

Picture45

I made this quote painting in watercolor as my painting hobby and words playing. A painting and some words play can make an interesting quote painting which leads to printable as decoration or a cover for your agenda or anything you would like to put at. The words and the painting can reminds you and / or at the same time would inspire you.

Quote Painting As Decoration – Be High In Creativity

I was feeling of painting something today and the quote “Be High In Creativity” has been on my mind for a while. The phrase came in mind with a view of pine trees by the coastal area. I painted it in watercolor and the quote painting can be used as a decoration for your home office with a beach home theme.

Picture38

Why did I choose the pine tree to describe my quote? Because it can grow from 3 to 80 m (10–260 ft) tall, with the majority of species are mostly reaching 15–45 m (50–150 ft) tall. Pines are usually long lived kind of tree and typically reach ages of 100–1,000 years, some even more. Pine trees are evergreen which means it still have leaves throughout the year, therefor the tree would look green in any season.  You would probably ask, why a pine tree grow on coastal area? Well, there is one type of pine that usually grow on coastal area and that is Pinus contorta, which commonly known as lodgepole pine and shore pine, or sometimes  known as twisted pine. Contorta pine is a common tree in western North America. It grows near the ocean shore and also in dry mountain forests, but the tree is rare in lowland rain forests.

So for those who love to paint, take your brush and start to paint something beautiful to decorate your home. And for those who love to create something, hope you get inspired to be high in your creativity! Happy creative day and “be high in creativity”!

This is a tiny beach home with a wide openings on the front of the house to enjoy a maximum beauty of the beach. The entrance is on the back of the house by staircase, which doesn’t showed on my perspective drawing of the beach house. It has an attic bedroom which facing the horizon; a pantry, a toilet, a sitting room, a tiny patio and an outdoor shower on the back of the house. I will show you the proper floor plan on my next post.

Take A Coffee Break Quote Painting

Sometimes we work so hard trying to fulfill our targets until we forget to take care of ourselves, smiling, or simply enjoy a beautiful view. So, whatever you are doing right now, take a break and enjoy something you really love to do, maybe with a cup of tea or a cup of coffee. Relax and enjoy it until your cup is empty. Take a break, because even wave has a break.

I feel relax when I draw, it’s like a therapy for me. And when it’s finished, it gives me a good feeling and a smile. For me, painting or drawing is also a break from hectic routine, therefore, I have painted a cup of coffee for a break and a background view of some waves breaking by the beach. I painted it in watercolor with a quote “Take a break, even wave has a break”.

Picture19

It’s a mid-week, get your self energized to deal with the rest of the week, a coffee break should raise up your energy level. Hope you enjoy my quote painting and let your self take a break, sit down, make yourself a delicious coffee and enjoy whatever thing you feel therapeutic for you. Don’t be too hard on yourself! Have a nice break!

Thank You With Frangipani In Watercolor

Thank you to all my beloved followers! I have more than 500 followers now! So happy and grateful! Thanks to you all for the supports, likes, visits, lovely comments that makes me keep going! I really appreciate it, every little attention to big love attention you have given me. Thank you!

Picture9

To show my appreciation, I painted a frangipani flower by the beach in watercolor. I chose frangipani because this flower is picturing a shiny hot weather and often grows in beachy area; which goes along with my theme for this summer, that is nautical summer. Moreover, the flower of frangipani is a symbol of love and devotion; and that is what I want to give back to you, my followers.

Picture10

Here I want to share a glance about frangipani. The name “frangipani” comes from a sixteenth-century noble family in Italy who invented a frangipani scented perfume, but it was actually a synthetic perfume that was claimed resembles to the fragrant of the newly discovered flowers by the seventeenth-century French botanist Charles Plumier at that period of time. Frangipani is often associated with love and devotion. And the message behind the Frangipani flower is to be happy, joyful, energetic, and friendly.

So now you know why I painted this frangipani in watercolor just for my followers and readers, many thanks to you all!

Lighthouse in Watercolor Hand Panting

Lighthouse is always a fascinating building to see in every seaside. I love the shape, the red and the white colors. Matching with my Nautical Summer theme, I hand drew a Lighthouse by seaside which I hand painted it with watercolor.

lighthouse is a tower designed to serve as a navigational aid for maritime pilots at sea or on inland waterways by emitting light. Basically, lighthouse has two types: a lighthouse on a land and on the offshore. A land lighthouse is simply built to aid navigation more over the land than water. Usually constructed in flatland where a bright lantern could be visible for many miles for traveler who’s disorientated and lost.

Picture112

Lighthouses mostly mark dangerous coastlines, and were used widely. But due to high maintenance and increasing use of electronic navigational systems, slowly the number of operational lighthouses has declined. Many lighthouses are abandoned and deteriorated along with passing time. Afterwards, the lighthouse become more as preserved building.

I try to preserve it in a hand painted watercolor painting. The lighthouse on a sloping green by the calm sea. A serene look of tough lighthouse. I sketched it with pencil. I painted it with natural colors of brush pen. And for the watercolor, I used red, white, blue, ochre and green.

Picture111

A framed painting could be a great piece to decorate your home. Especially a piece you made, a conversation starter with your guests. Well, hope my Lighthouse in watercolor hand painting inspires you in anything, to paint, to have a vacation, to write a poem, anything that makes you think of seaside, beach, breezy summer, all the coastal beauty.
