Halloween Framed Hand Painting

I love to draw, to paint and this coming Halloween was my inspiration to move my hand on a sketch book. On my previous post, I have shared a Free Halloween Coloring Printable For Kids and you are still free to download the template on that post. I drew and painted it to be framed as Halloween decoration. This Halloween framed hand painting; a coloring version of mine may give your kids the color inspiration to do the Halloween Coloring.

I hand painted the Halloween drawing of scary Halloween pumpkins, bats, a witch riding on a broom of the full moon. I painted it with watercolor. It’s a Halloween night that I wanted to show, so it’s a dark vibes I gave.

A glance of history on how carved pumpkin (Jack o’ lantern) become a star on Halloween celebration; some believed was came from Irish folklore about a sinner named Stingy Jack who won a deal with Satan. The deal was the Satan not to take his soul. But since Jack unable to rest in Heaven, he started to wandering on earth in dark carrying a carved lantern turnip to light his way. For bats on Halloween; originated from Celts’s celebration of harvest festival, called Samhain, or now has evolved into Halloween. On Halloween night, they lit bonfires, which attracted many insects and also attracted bats. From then on, the bats are closely related to Halloween.
