DIY Christmas Jar

Christmas is under a month, very exciting! Today, I have prepared a super easy DIY Christmas Jar that anyone can do. This DIY Christmas project is involving upcycling glass jar and some painting works. But, don’t worry, the painting job is insanely simple. Just stroke to the right and stroke to the left and you are going to nail it. You’re not going to paint a Christmas truck or some glowing Christmas balls; in the other hand, you are going to simply paint a humble Christmas tree in a super easy execution. Still have some doubts? Well, let’s just go through all the materials I use and how I easy made the Christmas Jar was.

Things To Prepare

A glass jar would be easy to find at home. Any size will do for this DIY Christmas jar. It depends on what is the purpose that you are going to give the Christmas jar for. If you want use it as a candy cane holder, then use a little tall one, instead of the short one. But if you want to hold a scented candle, it would be cute to use a wide short jar for it. Anyway, let’s find out what were the supplies I use to make this DIY Christmas Jar :

  • A glass jar
  • Red paint
  • White paint
  • Gold Ribbon
  • A gold reindeer topper or any other Christmas ornament

How To Make

Having a painting job for your DIY project doesn’t necessary have to be difficult. Look at my Christmas tree painting on this jar, it’s so simple. Just some rough strokes of white paint a small brush and I’m sure you’ll get it right. Try do it on a piece of paper first if you’re not that sure, nd once you got it, paint it on your Christmas jar. Now, gather all the supplies I’ve mentioned above and follow these steps on how to make DIY Christmas Jar :

1 . Make sure your glass jar is clean as you need a clean surface to paint with. It will not stick if the glass jar is dirty or greasy. Paint it in red and wait until it’s dry to proceed with the next step.

2 .Paint some big lines, effortless from top to 45 degree down, left and right over and over until you have odd pairs of strokes. It depends on how tall your jar is. Mine is 5 pairs of strokes. Use some white paint for the Christmas tree. Let it dry

3. Get a gold ribbon and tie it around the jar mouth. As a final touch, I added a little gold reindeer topper between the gold ribbon and the jar. Cute! And you’re done!

Only need three simply steps to do this Christmas jar. You can make couple of it or more and lie them up along your dinner table for Christmas dinner as the center pieces. And you can use it to hold anything you’d like to spice up your Christmas decor. Looks fun? It is fun and easy! Go get your kids to help you and spend some fun time making this DIY Christmas jar.
