DIY Pumpkin Decoration White Blue

Thanksgiving is getting closer and winter is following. It would be great to make some DIY decorations to celebrate Thanksgiving and also serves along fall decor. I made some pumpkins decoration from popsicle sticks. I made them in two sizes, a size of an ice sticks and the other one is an half of it. Since, now it’s the transitioning time from fall to winter, I painted the pumpkins in white and blue.

I like the texture of the pumpkin that comes from the ice sticks bundle. And I painted it roughly to get some rustic look. I so into the rustic farmhouse style. These two white and blue pumpkins would go well with farmhouse fall to winter decor. And more of it, this pumpkin diy is so easy to make and a quick too. But still I share the simple steps on how I make my DIY Pumpkin Decoration White Blue from popsicle sticks.

Things To Prepare

If you like to do some craft, you should have ice sticks stored in your craft supplies. Why? Because there are lots of things you can make from ice sticks. You can check out my ice sticks or some call it popsicle sticks projects I’ve made. Anyway, other things that you need to prepare to make my white blue pumpkin decoration are :

  • Ice sticks
  • Wood glue
  • White paint
  • Blue paint
  • Green ribbon or fabric
  • White lace

How To Make

This popsicle pumpkin is easy and simple to make. You can make some of it without having too much time spend and it also inexpensive. These are steps that I took to make the diy pumpkin in white and blue:

  1. Gather a handful of popsicle and tie it with rubber band. For smaller pumpkin, cut the popsicle into two.
  2. Apply some wood glue on top and bottom of the popsicle pumpkin and let it sit for while until it sip through and dry.
  3. I painted the ice sticks pumpkin with white paint and the smaller pumpkin with light blue. Let it dry.
  4. Last step is to tie a green ribbon bow on the white pumpkin stalk and lace to the blue pumpkin as if it’s the leaf. And you’re all done!

There are many pumpkin diys, I hope I have add another idea on making a pumpkin in a different way and look. My white and blue pumpkins are simply easy, quick and inexpensive to make, but the look is just beautiful enough for fall to winter decor and of course would work well for Thanksgiving theme.
